I don't know what it is about windows that just make a house look more finished. Nothing else really has changed but with the windows in, it just looks more 'done'. Or maybe it's just me. Either way, windows are going in, and that's a good thing.

It is held in place on the outside while it is fitted on the inside.
It is leveled horizontally....

Once the thumbs up has been given...
... it is carefully, nailed into place.
This part makes me so nervous!
And voila! The window is in!!
Now, you just have to do that 19 more times!

These are the two small windows you see above the kitchen window at the back of the house. They don't open but are there to let the natural light into the library.

Exhausted, but done for the day. A job very well done.
